The Cambodia is growing tourism industry has great potential to transform the economic. Experts anticipate the influx of tourists will reach 2 million a year by 2008 because Cambodia is farmed its enigmatic temple and massive stone faces peering through the jungle foliage. Regrettably, this country great heritage is being decimated by widespread looking, not only of the temples but also older archaeological sites.
While tourism has the potential to be of enormous benefit to the country, it is essential that everyone understands the fragile nature of heritage. Irresponsible tourism will destroy Cambodian heritage and the country’s future. This alarming construction prompted a concerned group of us to take the Tourism & Hospitality major in Build Bright University.
Because of we have Cambodian’s blood so we have to find out the solutions to solve the problems that will be happen and destroy the tourism in our country, so our Tourism & Hospitality Class have been starting since 2006 and will be graduate in 2010 to raise awareness of the Knowledge and to develop the tourism in our country.
We need to protect all the Cambodian’s heritages that are the soul of Khmer people, so after we graduated we do hope that we could use our knowledge to develop the tourism in our communities.
